Ahornhof is a family-run equestrian yard in Bockhorn, near Varel on Germany's North Sea coast, run by owner Jurgen Filmer. The farm combines a boarding stable with guided hourly and multi-day trail rides on gentle Frisian horses, taking riders across moorland, marshland, and coastal tidal flats. Guests can join scenic beach rides timed to the tides, as well as longer multi-day trekking trips through the surrounding Nordsee landscape. The yard welcomes riders of varying experience levels and offers trial rides for newcomers.
