Gestüt Hof Castanea

Gestüt Hof Castanea is a Thoroughbred (Vollblut) breeding stud and boarding farm run by Anja and Peter Röbbeling in Colnrade, in the Wildeshauser Geest of Lower Saxony. Established in 2008 on an 11-hectare estate, the stud breeds racehorses and also offers pension boarding, with extensive pastures and paddocks, a riding arena, an exercise hall, and 14 stables including video-monitored foaling boxes. The Röbbelings raise and sell young horses from their own breeding programme and follow the racing careers of the horses bred on the farm. Each year the stud hosts its own Gestütsfest.
