Barn Ranch Pony is an equestrian association at Laurière in Haute-Vienne, France. It promotes riding that respects the horse and teaches children grooming, equipment and feeding. It hosts western riding, horsemanship, long-reining and hoof-trimming clinics and offers pony discovery, livery and pony driving coaching. Horses and ponies can also be sponsored.
The Fell Pony Society works to keep the Fell pony breed pure and to spread knowledge about it. It registers ponies, handles membership and export matters and publishes two magazines a year. It lists ponies for sale and stallions at stud, and runs shows.
The Mounted Games Association of Northern Ireland runs training and competition in mounted games, fast relay races ridden on ponies in teams. It welcomes riders of all ages and newcomers. It competes at home and alongside teams from Ireland and Scotland.
Barnard Castle & Teesdale Riding Club is a volunteer-run riding club in Teesdale, part of British Riding Clubs Area 2. It runs showjumping winter and summer leagues, dressage qualifiers and lessons. Members and non-members can enter events online.
S&G Equine Ltd near Ollerton in Shropshire is a livery yard, training centre and competition venue. It offers several livery packages with American barn stabling, an all-weather arena and a cross-country schooling field. It also runs clinics, camps, pony days, competitions and a riding club.
Saddlers Riding Club was established in the 1960s and takes its name from Walsall. It runs in-hand, ridden, handy pony and fun shows with qualifiers.
The South West of Scotland Horse Driving Club was formed in 1984 to promote competitive carriage driving. It runs six events a year across South West Scotland and North Cumbria, plus training days. It is affiliated to British Carriage Driving and welcomes new members.
Brookhouse Farm Riding School near Solihull opened in 1985 and is family run. It offers riding lessons, hacking, clinics, own a pony days and a riding club. It also runs horse care diplomas and apprenticeships.
Muirmill Equestrian Centre near Symington, South Ayrshire, is a competition centre and livery yard owned by Laura McCabe and Lee Roebuck. Muirmill Equestrian Club is based there and hosts events across disciplines.
Breed society for Hanoverian horses in Britain and a daughter society of the German Hanoverian breeders' association. It runs breeding rules, stallion licensing, an annual show and member services such as passport changes.
Breed society that keeps the official register of Palomino and cream dilute horses and ponies in the UK. It promotes their breeding and offers membership and registration.
The Clydesdale Horse Society is the breed society for the Clydesdale horse, with 150 years of history. It sets pedigree rules and a breeding programme, registers foals and stallions and lists stallions at stud. It runs a Winter Fair and lists horses for sale.
Area 2 British Riding Clubs covers the North East of England and most of Cumbria. It runs area qualifiers for affiliated riding clubs in horse trials, dressage, show jumping, arena eventing and combined training. Qualifiers lead to the BRC National Championships and an inter-club competition. The area also arranges subsidised training events such as dressage clinics.
The Irish Draught Horse Society (GB) was formed in 1979 to register Irish Draught horses in Great Britain. It promotes and protects the breed and is a passport issuing organisation for pure and part-bred Irish Draughts. It runs inspections, a national championship show and lists stallions at stud.
Barstobrick Equestrian and Indoor Recreation Centre (BEIRC) is a volunteer-run Scottish charity in the Stewartry district. It provides a 60m x 25m indoor arena and a 40m x 20m second arena with silica sand and fibre surfaces. Individuals, families and clubs can buy subscriptions for arena access. It runs dressage, showing and TREC competitions and offers course hire.
Northside Riding Club is based at the Princess Anne Arena at St Ives Showground in Sydney. It caters for riders with their own or leased horses and holds about 70 events a year across showjumping, eventing, dressage and more, plus training days and clinics.
Cumbria Riding Club is based near Gosforth in Cumbria. It runs training days, dressage and show jumping leagues, combined training and other competitions, and fields British Riding Clubs teams.
The Shetland Pony Stud-Book Society was formed in 1890 to keep the Shetland pony breed pure and promote its breeding. It is the recognised stud-book of origin for the breed worldwide. It keeps the online stud book and runs a breeding programme.
The Northern Ireland Horse Board is a co-operative society for people in the Northern Ireland horse industry. It maintains the Irish Horse Register in Northern Ireland and offers members discounted registrations and passports. It runs young stock championships and promotes breeding and equestrian sport.
Edinburgh University Exmoor Pony Trekking is a student-led non-profit society that cares for a herd of 10 Exmoor ponies. It runs horse riding treks for students and the public, for all riding abilities. From September to May treks start at Swanston in the Pentland Hills, and in summer they run in the Ochil Hills from Glendevon. Riders can help care for their pony before and after the trek.
SeaHorse Polo & Beach Rides at Tyrella near Downpatrick was set up in 2017 by Mary Minarikova and Jamie McCarthy. It offers beach rides and polo for groups and individuals on safe ponies.
The Valley is a horse boarding yard in Heuvelland, Belgium, at the foot of the Monteberg. It has room for 40 horses in spacious open boxes and offers a full-board formula with hay, daily box cleaning, winter paddocks and summer grazing. Facilities include a half-covered 20 x 40 m arena, wash bays and 12 hectares of pasture. The yard is home to the riding club Jeff's Valley, and it also has a clubhouse and guest rooms.
Springwood Riding Club in Horsley, Derbyshire runs a programme of club shows. Riders can join as members or enter shows with a day membership. Classes include dressage, lead rein and hobby horse tests.
South Devon Riding Club is a riding club affiliated to the British Horse Society. It organises clinics, competitions and non-riding events for members all year round. As part of British Riding Clubs Area 19 it sends teams to area competitions in many disciplines.
