Macclesfield & District Riding Club is a riding club in Cheshire, founded in 1972 and affiliated with British Riding Clubs and the British Horse Society. It welcomes riders from beginners to experienced competitors, from juniors to seniors. The club runs showjumping, dressage, showing and other events for its members.
Leadenham Polo Club in Lincolnshire was established in 2006 by James Reeve. It has a laser-levelled, irrigated full-size polo field, an arena and a string of Argentinian polo ponies. It welcomes beginners through to experienced players, with an academy, club chukkas and tournaments. Members can keep ponies on full polo livery with optional schooling.
Breed society founded in 1883 that maintains the Hackney stud book and promotes the breed. It holds an annual National Breed Show and a championship show, and supports breeders with premiums and registration costs.
Lambley Riding Club is a small local riding club near Calverton, Nottinghamshire. From April to October it runs club and open shows with show jumping, gymkhana games, in-hand and ridden showing and clear round jumping. It also holds clinics during the year. New members of any level are welcome.
Ripley Riders Club is a non-profit riding club in Derbyshire founded in 1947. It runs a season of shows, events and championships for riders of all ages and abilities. It is run by a volunteer committee and funded mainly by membership fees.
South Derbyshire Saddle Club is a local riding club in Ockbrook, Derbyshire. It was founded in 1954 as the Golden Horseshoe Riding Club and took its present form in 1964. New members are welcome.
Caverswall & District Riding Club was formed 50 years ago and holds five shows a year from April, including a Championship show in August. Classes cover showing, show jumping and working hunter for riders of every ability. Shows are held at Lodge Farm Equestrian Centre. Members collect points through the year towards trophies and STARS Champion of Champions qualification.
Wilmslow Riding Club is a riding club affiliated with British Riding Clubs in Area 3 (North West). It runs dressage and combined training events and offers training and camp. Members compete in teams at Area qualifiers for British Riding Clubs national championships.
The Saddle Research Trust is a charity that promotes research into the interaction between horses, saddlery and riders. It works with veterinary clinicians and research scientists. It shares findings through conferences, webinars and online resources to advance equine welfare, performance and safety.
Colne Valley Saddle Club is a riding club in the Colne Valley, Huddersfield, founded in 1980. It runs events covering most equestrian disciplines. Members' events include summer showing, dressage and show jumping points shows and training sessions. Trophies are awarded at the AGM in October.
Chapel & District Riding Club is a riding club based at its showground on Charley Lane between Chinley and Chapel-en-le-Frith. It holds six shows a year from April to September with ridden and in-hand classes, clear round jumping and championship qualifiers. The club is affiliated with British Riding Clubs and the British Horse Society. Membership is open to riders and non-riders.
Dart Polo is a polo club in Lincolnshire, established in 2020 on a country estate. It runs a polo academy offering lessons and provides polo ponies. Its livery offers schooling, working, turnout and stable rental for horses. It also aims to breed and produce polo horses.
Carriage Driving For our Community is a community interest company offering inclusive carriage driving lessons. It works with people with disabilities, non-visible conditions, neurodiversity and health challenges. Members learn with qualified tuition and experienced horses and can progress to competitive Carriage Driving Trials. It also offers leisure carriage journeys through the local area.
White Rose Riding Club is a riding club near Middleton on the Wolds, East Yorkshire, founded in 1965. It runs events through the year including jumping, showing, dressage and hunter trials. Members train year-round at the club field and at Bishop Burton College, and compete in British Riding Clubs Area 4 teams.
Cliffhollins Riding School is a family-run riding school and Pony Club centre established in 2004. It is a 5-star Kirklees Council licensed riding school offering lessons for children and adults of all abilities from age four. It also runs riding activities, events and RDA sessions.
Bolton and District Riding Club is a family riding club that holds shows at Seven Acres Country Park in Bolton. Its shows run monthly from March to September with ridden and in-hand showing classes and dressage. The show has run since 1962.
Pony showing association formed in 1964 with branches across northern and midland counties of England. Branches hold shows, members can join a judges' panel, and it runs training shows and Pony of the Year qualifiers.
White Rose Polo Club is an HPA polo club at Townend Farm, North Cliffe, near York, founded in 2007. It offers polo lessons six days a week for riders and non-riders, with horses provided. Club chukkas are played every weekend, and the club hosts tournaments including the Yorkshire Open Polo Championships.
York & District Riding Club was founded in 1968 and is affiliated to the British Horse Society in Area 4. It has its own club field near Wigginton with a clubhouse and arena, and uses indoor and outdoor arenas at Haxby in winter. The club runs lessons, dressage and show competitions, pole clinics and social events, and members ride for the club in Area 4 competitions.
ileyfoals is a pony club for children aged 3 to 13 near Preston, Lancashire. It runs group riding lessons at Ribble View Farm in Longridge for beginners to advanced riders. Members also attend themed club days, and the club hosts pony parties and sells rider clothing.
Wheelton & District is a branch of The Pony Club based at The Red Cat Field in Wheelton, near Chorley. It runs lessons, camps, fun days and competitions such as combined training for its young members. Instruction comes from the branch's own experienced instructors.
Longton Riding Club runs Longton Showground, a showground of over 10 acres near Leyland, Lancashire. The club holds seven points shows and seven dressage shows each season, plus a qualifiers show and a one-day event. The ground has four showing rings, a working hunter course and a show jumping ring. The club is affiliated to British Riding Clubs and runs winter training.
Thornton Cleveleys and District Horse Club is a members' horse club in Lancashire. It runs a series of points shows and an annual show with trophies, sashes and rosettes. Entries are taken online. Results and newsletters are published on its website.
