Hafod Equestrian Centre is in the Denbighshire countryside near Trefnant in North Wales. Its 20m x 60m indoor arena can be hired by the hour, including lights and show jumps. The centre hosts show jumping clinics, pole work sessions, Pony Club and riding club rallies and dressage clinics.
Berriewood Farm is a family-run equestrian centre near Condover, Shropshire. It offers semi, DIY and combi livery as well as short-term stabling for visiting horses. It hosts dressage, show jumping, cross-country, clinics and camps, and its arena, cross-country course and farm ride can be hired. A dog exercise field is also available to hire.
Elms Farm Equestrian Centre is near Caythorpe in Lincolnshire, between Grantham, Newark and Sleaford. It offers livery packages with use of an indoor school, outdoor schools, a cross-country course, horse walker and solariums. It also runs events and competition leagues and hires out its arenas.
RideBylaugh is a riding facility at The Old Hall, Bylaugh, in Norfolk's Wensum Valley. It offers hire of a 60x25m all-weather outdoor school with show jumps and 3¼ miles of grass canter tracks. Visiting instructors give dressage and show jumping clinics and private or semi-private lessons.
Barrowcliffe XC is a cross country schooling course on a 35-acre site. It has around 220 jumps and obstacles from small logs up to Advanced combinations, with ditches, water and steps. Riders hire the facilities per horse, and lungeing can be booked by appointment. International event rider Katie Barber offers private and group lessons on the course.
Field Farm Cross Country is at Wymeswold in Leicestershire. It has a 30-acre cross-country course, a 600m canter track, and indoor and outdoor arenas for hire. Its livery yard has stabling for 26 horses, and BHSI Jo Shields gives lessons, clear-round jumping and clinics.
Poplars Farm Equestrian is in rural Staffordshire near Burton-on-Trent. It has a cross-country course with nearly 3 miles of off-road riding and jumps. Its livery yard has around 30 stables with individual tack rooms and paddocks, offered as DIY livery with hay included.
Green Lane Equestrian is an equestrian training facility in Billesdon, Leicestershire, owned by event and dressage rider Laura Hill. It has a 60x20m indoor arena and offers clinics, coaching and facility hire. Livery, from care livery to competition and training livery, is offered through its sister company LCH Equine, with 12 internal stables and 12 acres of grazing.
Walton Holt Cross Country Ride is a cross country riding course near Lutterworth in south Leicestershire. The 4.5km grass course has 15 jumps from 25cm to 90cm. Riders book hourly slots for exclusive use of the course and must bring their own horses. An equine laundry service is also offered.
Rockbourne Ride at Tenantry Farms near Fordingbridge, Hampshire, is a long-established equestrian cross-country schooling venue started about 30 years ago as a farm diversification. It offers cross-country courses, residential adult riding camps with flatwork and show jumping coaching, and carriage driving competitions.
Siddle Equine Services is an equestrian centre in North Shropshire set up in 2009. It provides facilities for all disciplines from grassroots to international level and has hosted British team training. Its cross-country course is available to hire all year, and it offers training breaks with your horse.

It runs showjumping, dressage and showing competitions and clinics for affiliated and unaffiliated riders. It offers full, part, schooling, backing, holiday, competition and selling livery, with a 60 x 23 indoor arena and a 50 x 70 outdoor arena. It is also home to LKF Sport Horses.
Trentvalley Equestrian Centre is a family-run riding centre near Southwell, Nottinghamshire, established in 1958. It offers riding tuition, summer camps and livery, with stabling for 72 horses and over 300 acres of pasture and paddocks. Facilities include floodlit sand arenas and moveable cross-country fences, with qualified staff on site 24 hours a day.
Pet a Pony is a community interest company in Cotgrave, Nottinghamshire, offering therapy pony visits. It brings Shetland ponies to care homes, supported living, outreach groups, schools and events. It also runs Shetland and horse experience sessions at its own yard for adults with additional needs. Its practitioner is qualified in Equine Assisted Learning.
Bulby Equestrian Centre near Bourne, Lincolnshire, opened in 1999 as a competition livery yard and became a BHS Approved Riding School. Killossery Lodge Stud is an equestrian centre near Dublin offering a 5-star livery service with access to its competition facilities and hacking tracks. The Royal Cheshire County Show is a two-day agricultural show in Cheshire run by the Cheshire Agricultural Society. It holds hundreds of classes for light and heavy horses and show jumping, as well as cattle, sheep and other livestock. It attracts around 80,000 visitors.
Sherwood Forest Harmony Horses is based at Kings Clipstone near Mansfield. It offers pony rides for children with tuition, horse care sessions, walks with miniature horses and a unicorn experience. It also runs parties, events, and school and care home visits. Owner Jo is qualified in equine assisted wellness coaching and offers wellness sessions with the horses.
Spirit of the Horse is a touring equestrian theatre show with over 20 horses and riders. It is staged in a 2,000-seat equestrian pavilion. It is produced by Gandey World Class Productions.
Cheshire Unicorns runs unicorn-themed pony parties and photo shoots for children in an orchard in Cheshire. Children groom, decorate and ride the ponies. It is run by Amanda Keech of Cheshire Pony Parties, who has hosted pony parties since 2008.
