Reit- und Fahrverein Aschendorf e.V.

Reit- und Fahrverein Aschendorf is a riding and driving club in the Aschendorf district of Papenburg, founded in 1920 and based at its purpose-built facility on Hofer Kirchweg since 2005. The grounds hold a 25 x 60 m indoor arena with an adjoining clubhouse, an outdoor arena with a jumping course, 30 paddock boxes of 12 m2 each with an 18 m2 attached outdoor paddock, a wash box and solarium, and around 3.5 hectares of pasture. Riding lessons for beginners and more advanced riders are given by several instructors, on the rider's own horse or pony. Boxes are let to private horse owners with daily turnout included, and prices are quoted on request. Hacking country begins directly behind the club's grounds.

Since 1978 it has been based at Manege de Dollard in Winschoten in the Oldambt municipality and now has around 150 members. The club exists to represent its members and to promote equestrian sport, chiefly by organising competitions. Its indoor and outdoor jumping shows, including the EDR Springconcours, draw several hundred starts.
