Stichting Huifbedrijden Hoeksche Waard is a foundation, established in 1999, that provides huifbed riding for people with disabilities. Clients lie on a canvas bed carried by two trained horses, led around the indoor arena for a relaxing, massaging effect. Rides last half an hour and can be booked on set days, with gift cards available. The foundation also offers one-hour rides in a covered wheelchair carriage from its stable in Numansdorp.
