Langeooger Kutschfahrten has been driving horse-drawn carriages on the car-free North Sea island of Langeoog for around twenty years. Its navy-liveried carriages are pulled by Friesians and are used for guided tours through the Wadden Sea National Park and around the island's landmarks, with commentary from the driver. Regular routes include a three-hour trip out to the Meierei dairy café and a one-hour island circuit, alongside bookable private and group drives. Pick-up for guests with limited mobility can be arranged in advance.

Hannoverscher Rennverein e.V. is a thoroughbred racing association founded in 1867 that operates the Neue Bult racecourse at Langenhagen near Hannover. Reitanlage Vibrans

Reitanlage Vibrans is a livery yard at Hahausen on the northern edge of the Harz, run by Michael and Janina Vibrans. Species-appropriate keeping is the priority: horses go out in small groups on generous, well-kept summer pasture, and in the winter half-year they get daily turnout in small groups on clean, surfaced paddocks. Reitsportanlage Ziegler is a livery yard in Kirchdorf, Lower Saxony, offering riding comfort in a family atmosphere. Reitsportanlage Vietze is a riding centre on the Höhbeck in the Wendland, best known for bringing children to horses for the first time. It runs beginner riding lessons, pony sessions, school and kindergarten groups and children's riding camps during the holidays. Gut Appel Selkirk KG

Gut Appel is a historic estate at Helvesiek between Hamburg and Bremen, first documented in the fourteenth century and restored by the Selkirk family since 2010. Around forty horses live on the estate, which offers a polo ground, a former trotting track, an irrigated 80 by 20 metre dressage arena, a grass jumping field inside the racecourse and a small indoor school. The estate is home to the Hanseatischer Polo Club and welcomes polo players, show jumpers, dressage and leisure riders alike; stable blocks can be leased for owners looking to keep their horse there. The Ponyschule Herzenspferd also operates on site, and the estate restaurant and event barn round out the setting.

Palomino-Farm is a western riding centre and Quarter Horse stud between Bremen and Bremerhaven, in operation for more than forty years and one of the longest-established western yards in Germany. Owner and trainer Torsten Köhn, who trained in the United States, breeds and schools Quarter Horses and Paint Horses that have made a name for themselves in Germany and across Europe. The farm trains client horses in all western disciplines and teaches riders from beginners and leisure riders through to competitors. Facilities include a 20 x 40 m indoor school, a 40 x 60 m outdoor arena, a covered round pen, fifty boxes, a treatment room, large turnout areas and fifteen hectares of adjoining pasture, and full-service livery is offered.
